Teaberry's SereniTEA Raises Funds For Patients
at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center
Teaberry's in Flemington sponsored SereniTEA on October 24th, a tea party and forum to benefit women's health services at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. The event raised more than $1300 to help support the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center's Special Needs Fund. This fund helps to help alleviate the financial burden many cancer patients and their families encounter during their treatment and recovery period. These funds will help patients and their families concentrate on recovery, and not worry about how to pay for non-medical expenses such as travel, food or other items.
The event included a four course tea party featuring motivational speaker and author, Janet Cargill. Janet Cargill is an expert in the fashion world. She spent more than 15 years as a wardrobe consultant, a fashion show coordinator and executive sales trainer for Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren and Liz Claiborne.
