Built in 1822, the Teaberry’s house is one of the oldest homes in Flemington. It is a Federal Style Colonial with gingerbread touches later added to fit in with the town’s Victorian nature. There was an earlier house on the same property which was home to Esther Fleming Lowery whose family was one of the earliest in town and its namesake. She and her husband were prosperous mill & general store owners as well as friends of George & Martha Washington. Unfortunately, that house burnt down and the current house was built remaining a private residence until 1970 and later housing many different businesses. We presently use every room in our home with six dining rooms and 100 seats. We invite you into our nineteenth century world to enjoy a bygone era with friends & family.
