Frequently Asked Questions

PAYMENT
We take all major credit cards.

PARKING
We have a private lot between our boutique and our tea room. This lot has just over 20 spaces, but is connected to a vast municipal lot - thankfully, parking is not an issue.

HANDICAPPED ACCESS
Both the restaurant and boutique are handicapped accessible.

DRESS CODE
We don’t enforce a dress code, but we are fine dining, and we do love to see our guests dress up to dine in our Victorian surroundings.

CHILD FRIENDLY?
We welcome children! We have high chairs & booster seats. We offer a children’s lunch and tea menu. If little ones wish to bring their doll or furry friend, we have little seats and tea sets for the table and this really makes for a memorable time! It turns out that we are a great place for kids to practice their table manners.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
We can accommodate any dietary restrictions through substitutions and custom orders although our kitchen is not a gluten free or nut free environment.

GLUTEN FREE
We have GF whole grain white bread for entree sandwiches and tea sandwiches, a wonderful buttermilk GF scone that we are very proud of (baked to order), delicious salads with protein & homemade dressing, usually a soup, flourless chocolate cake, a GF almond cake, sorbet, gelato & fresh fruit.

END OF DAY HOURS
3:30 p.m. is our last seating. It is not when we close, but when we ask that you please be seated by. We are strict with this in respect to the kitchen.

BYO
You may bring your own bottle to enjoy while you dine.

OFFERINGS
We serve lunch and afternoon tea all day everyday that we are open.  Lunch consists of entree sandwiches, soups, salads, and quiche.  Afternoon tea consists of bite sized tea sandwiches, scones, and bite sized desserts.

TO-GO, etc.
We offer our entire menu to go.

TEAS
We ship our tea nationwide with a phone order.

RESERVATION INFORMATION
When you reserve, please provide us with your name, phone number, the time and day you’d like to come in, if everyone is able to manage a flight of stairs, and if you’ll be joining us for lunch or afternoon tea. We ask to know ahead if possible which menu you’d like since we set the table differently and prefer to notify the kitchen (everything is homemade).

OUTSIDE SEATING
We have 4 porch tables in season, and you’re welcome to reserve them.
